The innovators behind Which Network are Gary Watts and Paul Day, who both have a wealth of experience in the Financial Services sector. They have run small and mid sized practices as a Mortgage Broker and Financial Adviser respectively and have previously experienced both up and down turns in the market. This means they have a great empathy with regulatory requirements and the business challenges faced by professionals operating in the market today.
In addition to this Gary and Paul have also spent a number of years working for one of the UK’s largest mortgage networks which has provided them with a detailed insight into how networks operate and evolve, and what the intermediary’s requirements are.
It is this combined experience and knowledge that enables them to assess the validity of networks and their propositions, not only from a regulatory perspective but also as a business proposition. At the same time, the years they have spent in the Financial Services sector has resulted in their acquiring a healthy cynicism for the information distributed in glossy brochures and allows them to cut through marketing hype.
