Mortgage Support Network

 

Information regarding the Mortgage Support Network.

 

Mortgage Support Network was officially launched in 2003 however its frame work was established in 1996 is one of the pioneers of a wholly dedicated mortgage network.  Founder members of Mortgage Support Network are Simon James and David Collins who also set up under the same group of companies Agency Mortgage Services Ltd, The Mortgage Advisory Service Ltd and Harrison Murray estate agency.

 

In 2005 Mortgage Support Network launched a joint venture with SimplyBiz to help service Directly Authorised firms called Broker Support Services but subsequently sold it to SimplyBiz in 2008.  Mortgage Support Network became a dedicated mortgage club in 2002 and appointed Peter Ransome as a Sales Director in 2003 in the run up to mortgage regulation.  Mortgage Support network continues to be a privately owned company having only the two founder members as major share holders.

 

Following the departure of the Managing Director, Jason Graham in 2009 Peter Ransome took over the day to day running of the network along with Jo Porter in her role as Compliance Director. Mortgage Support Network also trade with Mortgage1, which is a separate company within the group and offers a broker desk and packaging facility.

 

Peter Ransome joined Mortgage Support Network with over 30 years experience in financial services and mortgage related industry. He worked for Equity & Law and then Scottish Amicable as a Life inspector and was promoted to National Sales Manager for Appointed Representative distribution. After Scottish Amicable closed the Appointed Representative distribution Peter worked with major IFA firms helping them set up none regulated life propositions prior to joining Mortgage Support Network in 2003.
