June 2006

Intrinsic Financial Services is officially launched.  Established by Lord Leitch, The former global CEO of Zurich Financial Services Life Businesses.  The venture is backed by Friends Provident, HBOS and the South African insurer Sanlam.  Lord Leitch is joined by David Capel, Kevin Ronaldson, Richard Freeman, George Higginson and Wallace Dobbin.

 

September 2006

Friends Provident have closed their mortgage networks Friends Mortgage World and Friends Provident Mortgage Club.  A deal with Intrinsic however means that they will accept a number of their brokers subject to them meeting certain standards.

 

February 2008

Intrinsic Financial Services acquire Mint Financial Services.  Mint will retain its own identity and their management team will remain in place with its 240 advisers continuing to place business through Mint as before. Kevin Ronaldson commented that the move would add significant to Mint.

 

August 2008

LV = has linked up with Intrinsic to distribute its new flexible equity release product.  This is the second partnership venture with Intrinsic following the launch of their tailored mortgage and lifestyle protection plan in March.

 

October 2008

Intrinsic Financial solutions team up with Savills Lending Solutions for secured loans and bridging services.

 

Offering a greater range of services than pure mortgage networks such as Mortgage Next Intrinsic Financial Services are now split into Intrinsic Mortgage Planning Ltd which is their  Mortgage Network offering, Intrinsic Financial Planning Ltd  a multi-tied agency for pension and investment products, and the Mint network who supply a financial services network for Independent Financial Advisers.

 

Intrinsic Mortgage Planning Ltd currently have 475 Appointed Representatives registered with the FSA.
